Implementación de una metodología de gestión de proyectos en una empresa operadora de telecomunicaciones

Abstract

El presente informe describe el Proyecto que llevó a cabo la descripción de la Implementación de una Metodología de Gestión de Proyectos en una Empresa Operadora de Telecomunicaciones, de capitales chilenos. Esta empresa llegó al Perú en el año 2013 al adquirir las operaciones de Nextel Perú, y lanzó su marca un año después, en octubre de 2014, convirtiéndose en la tercera operadora móvil más importante del Perú. En dicho contexto, la Empresa Operadora de Telecomunicaciones [EOT] comenzó a expandirse y crecer de manera agresiva, lanzando ofertas comerciales disruptivas que implicarían la puesta en marcha de nuevos proyectos en la red, para atender a los nuevos usuarios a nivel nacional. Este informe ilustra al lector sobre cómo se implementaron las buenas prácticas de gestión de proyectos de la guía internacional Project Management Book of Knowledge [PMBOK], hacia una metodología tangible y aplicable en una empresa, en la cual la Oficina de Proyectos [PMO], mantiene una estructura directiva y la estructura de la organización se orienta a ser matricial fuerte.

This report describes the Project that carried out the description of the Implementation of a Project Management Methodology in a Telecommunications Operating Company, with Chilean capital. This company arrived in Peru in 2013 by acquiring the operations of Nextel Peru, and launched its brand a year later, in October 2014, becoming the third most important mobile operator in Peru. In this context, the Telecommunications Operator Company [EOT] began to expand and grow aggressively, launching disruptive commercial offers that would involve the implementation of new projects in the network, to serve new users nationwide. This report illustrates to the reader how the good project management practices of the international project management book of Knowledge (PMBOK) guide were implemented, towards a tangible and applicable methodology in a company, in which the Project Office (PMO), maintains a management structure and the structure of the organization is oriented to be strong matrix.
