Abstract
This work is based on the experience and knowledge acquired in the Natalia, Valerie, and California farms, where blueberries are grown in sandy soils under a pot production system, adapting to high temperature conditions. The main variety cultivated is Mágica, recognized for its high yield of 35 tons per hectare, achieved through its planting system that incorporates 5,700 plants per hectare. Key management practices include controlled pruning, topping, bud removal, and manual harvesting, in addition to the implementation of a technified drip irrigation system in the pot production of blueberries. These practices are aimed at maximizing productivity and ensuring the quality of the fruit, positioning it as the best fruit in the world. To ensure crop health, regular monitoring of pests and diseases is conducted to maintain safety, yields, and quality of the fruit in accordance with export standards. This proactive approach to challenging environments reinforces Peru's position in the global blueberry market, highlighting the country's capacity to offer high-quality products.
