Abstract
This study evaluated the influence of Process Management and Administrative Simplification on the work performance of the administrative staff of the Faculty of Agronomy of the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. The main objective was to determine how these variables explain work performance. The specific objectives were to analyze the relationships between the variables and their dimensions. The research adopted a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design of a correlational and cross-sectional explanatory type. The study population consisted of 74 administrative employees, and a representative sample of 64 participants was selected through simple probability sampling. Data were collected through validated questionnaires with a Likert scale. For data analysis, an ordinal regression was performed, the final model, which includes the Process Management and Administrative Simplification variables, together with their interaction, showed a considerable improvement in fit, with a Chi-square of 67.025 (p < 0.001), which supports its relevance in predicting job performance. The Cox and Snell (0.649) and Nagelkerke (0.651) adjusted R² values indicate that approximately 65% of the variability in job performance can be explained by these variables, underscoring their significant impact. Subsequently, Spearman's correlation test, showed a positive and significant correlation between Process Management, Administrative Simplification and Job Performance (ρ = 0.722 for Process Management and ρ = 0.636 for Administrative Simplification, p < 0.01), indicating a strong association between these variables. It is concluded that the effective implementation of process management and administrative simplification practices is associated with significant improvements in job performance. It is recommended to continue optimizing these practices and strengthen the use of technological tools to support more efficient and effective processes in the faculty.
