Abstract
In the present professional work, a solution is given to a problem that caused diameters of commercial coils or those requested by clients, with errors either due to excess or defect, due to not having a technically established method, having developed as such the formulas that a once implemented in the Santa Lucia S.A. Factory. have obtained desired positive results. This has been generalized as such for continuous production in paper machines, managing to determine the importance of planning work in the final zone of the production process, that is, between the output of the paper, its winding and subsequent rewinding. Likewise, it is possible to show the importance of reducing defects in the finished product, with the consequent benefits for both the producer and the users. A general description of both the production process and the machinery and equipment involved in this industry has also been made, stating that each of the parties involved are the subject of extensive and in-depth studies, both on the subject of the pulp and paper as well as its direct correlation with the forestry field from which most of the raw material is supplied worldwide (approximately 95 percent), since despite Peru not currently being a wood pulp producing country, if it is a large consumer of it due to imports.
