Abstract
The objective of this study was to implement effective strategies for debt negotiation with financial intermediaries regulated by the SBS, for clients of a company that provides financial advisory services, managed from September 2021 to September 2023, in order to achieve total debt settlement. For this purpose, a descriptive and qualitative approach was used, and the problems identified were analyzed, the main problem being the inflexibility of negotiation by the cooperatives, state banks, municipal and rural banks, where the traditional strategic procedure designed by the company was ineffective. It was also detected the lack of quality controls in the negotiation area and metrics for the individual performance of the members of this area. For this reason, we contributed to the identification of the existing problems, we proposed an effective strategic procedure with a wider scope; furthermore, based on the previous analysis, we decided to add the administrative complaint procedure before the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI) as a negotiation strategy. This resulted in a significant reduction of the area's client portfolio, as well as a success rate of 74% with respect to the 180 clients of the portfolio managed directly, which were successfully concluded by obtaining the respective Certificates of Non-Debt. Strategic traceability was achieved, which ensures that the activities of the procedure are carried out properly. Likewise, other benefits were achieved, such as extra income in favor of the company, part of which were economic credits granted by the denounced entities in favor of the client, for which reason the delivery of such amounts to some clients was managed, in compliance with the agreement entered into.
