Reemplazo del sistema de embalado de cajas troqueladas por cajas estándar en el producto bolsas de snacks fritos para exportación

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo evaluar técnica y económicamente el beneficio de reemplazar cajas troqueladas por cajas estándar en el producto snacks fritos para exportación. El proceso de validación abarcó evaluaciones y comparaciones de apariencia, cubicaje y resistencia al apilamiento. Este proceso se inició con la evaluación documentaria de las fichas técnicas de las cajas, seguidamente se midió las dimensiones externas de altura, ancho y largo para poder realizar el cubicaje, posteriormente se procedió a calcular el peso de producto que ira en la caja para realizar la prueba de apilamiento, y se evaluó el costo beneficio de reemplazar la caja troquelada por caja estándar. Los resultados mostraron que las cajas evaluadas cumplen con los parámetros establecidos, las cajas estándar soportan el mismo peso de producto dentro de una caja troquelada, además que pueden ofrecer más cajas por pallet y contenedores de 20” y 40”.

The main objective of this work was to technically and economically evaluate the benefit of replacing die-cut boxes with standard boxes for the export of fried snacks. The validation process included evaluations and comparisons of appearance, cubing, and stacking resistance. This process began with a documentary evaluation of the boxes' technical data sheets. Next, the external dimensions of height, width, and length were measured to perform cubing. Subsequently, the weight of the product to be placed in the box was calculated to perform the stacking test, and the cost-benefit of replacing the die-cut box with a standard box was evaluated. The results showed that the evaluated boxes meet the established parameters. Standard boxes can support the same weight of product as a die-cut box, and they can also offer more boxes per pallet and 20" and 40" containers
