Abstract
“Lomas de Lúcmo”, considered relict “lomas”, are one of the few hills that have ecotouristic circuit. For being a fragile ecosystem that deserve appreciation and special support in their management due to the growing urban development that drastically extends to natural areas, in this case the hills. The lack of scientific information is one of the causes to promote its preservation and prevent its deterioration. The objective of this study was to offer instruments to contribute to its management through knowledge and appreciation of the flora, fauna and estimation of the level of reception of its roads. The typification of the vegetation was carried out through the methodology of random collection, with field trips during the wet season between July and November in 2014, registering 43 species, belonging to 24 different families. The values of the level of reception of the roads were estimated using the methodology of Cifuentes (1992); Cifuentes et al. 1999 obtaining values that indicates a possible anthropogenic impact due to the location of the roads used by visitors who are in direct contact at a small distance to the vegetation of the “loma”. In order to contribute to the management of the “loma” and to make an approximation of the impact of the anthropic disturbance, a digital model of the study area was developed with these findings, with the types of vegetation representative of the “lomas” and with the roads used by the visitors, which will allow community management to disseminate among its visitors knowledge of the flora along its roads and reduce the effects of such disturbance.
