Auditoría bajo las normativas (USDA-NOP, EU, RTPO) para producción orgánica de cultivos de café, arándano y quinua de exportación

Abstract

La población busca productos que más allá de brindar salud, sean también proveedores de estilo de vida, responsabilidad social y ambiental. Por ello, muchos agricultores agrupados en Asociaciones y Cooperativas, o empresas individuales, buscan cumplir con los requerimientos para su acreditación en sello orgánico, de esta manera vender sus productos a mercados externos e internos, siendo certificado por un organismo certificador. El presente trabajo tiene como fin mostrar los procedimientos que debe desempeñar el auditor para un correcto proceso de inspección bajo los requerimientos de las regulaciones orgánicas para los cultivos de café, arándano y quinua. Junto a ello, se realiza el detalle de las diferentes normativas orgánicas como USDA- NOP, EU y RTPO. El enfoque del trabajo es presentar la metodología que se llevó a cabo durante las auditorias. Realizando una descripción del proceso de inspección ajustada a las condiciones climatológicas, geográfica, agronómica y social de cada cultivo (arándano, café y quinua). Sumado a ello, la verificación y revisión de documentos entregados por los proyectos para su solicitud a la certificación orgánica.

The population looks for products that, beyond providing health, are also providers of lifestyle, social and environmental responsibility. For this reason, many farmers, whether they are grouped in Associations and Cooperatives, or individual companies, seek to meet the requirements for their organic Seal accreditation, thus selling their products to external and internal markets, being certified by a Certifying Body. The purpose of this work is to show the procedures that the auditor must carry out for a correct inspection process under the requirements of the organic regulations for coffee, blueberry and quinoa crops. Along with this, the detail of the different organic regulations such as USDA-NOP, EU and RTPO is made. The focus of the work is to present the methodology that was carried out during the audits. Carrying out a description of the inspection process adjusted to the weather, geographic, agronomic and social conditions of each crop (blueberry, coffee and quinoa). In addition to this, the verification and review of documents delivered by the projects for their request for organic certification.
