Abstract
El presente trabajo monográfico trata sobre la caracterización de heladas meteorológicas en el altiplano de Puno, realizado dentro de mis labores profesionales para la Dirección Zonal 13 (DZ13) del Servicio Nacional de Meteorología e Hidrología del Perú, buscando la manera de llegar a los tomadores de decisiones ante la problemática que vive el departamento de Puno, con diferentes cálculos referentes a las heladas en la zona y que ellos decidan por la herramienta que sea más sencilla de entender. Bajo experiencia ganada en el departamento de Puno, las anomalías de temperatura mínima fueron de mayor uso por las instituciones, por lo que se desarrolló mapas de caracterizaciones con los umbrales de peligrosidad a diario para el monitoreo del tiempo atmosférico. La recepción de datos diarios es un punto a favor de la Dirección Zonal 13, esfuerzo que permite el monitoreo constante de las condiciones del tiempo. En búsqueda de ofrecer una mejora de herramientas que sean didácticas y de fácil entendimiento, se realizaron estos cálculos de umbrales, anomalías, tendencias y frecuencias de la variable de temperatura mínima para las estaciones del altiplano de Puno. Como principal resultado se observa una tendencia positiva en las temperaturas mínimas por lo que se vio conveniente añadir un análisis de escenarios de cambio climático para el 2050.
The present monographic work deals with the characterization of meteorological frosts in the Puno highlands, carried out within my professional work for the Zonal Directorate 13 (DZ13) of the National Meteorology and Hydrology Service of Peru, looking for a way to reach the decisions regarding the problems that the department of Puno is experiencing, with different calculations regarding frost in the area and that they decide on the tool that is easiest to understand. Based on experience gained in the department of Puno, minimum temperature anomalies were most used by institutions, so characterization maps were developed with daily danger thresholds for monitoring weather. The reception of daily data is a point in favor of Zonal Directorate 13, an effort that allows constant monitoring of weather conditions. In search of offering an improvement of tools that are didactic and easy to understand, these calculations of thresholds, anomalies, trends and frequencies of the minimum temperature variable were carried out for the stations of the Puno plateau. The main result is a positive trend in minimum temperatures, which is why it was deemed appropriate to add an analysis of climate change scenarios for 2050.
