Producción y rentabilidad del cultivo de Sacha Inchi (Plukenetia volubilis L.) en la región Piura

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar y comparar la adaptabilidad y rentabilidad del Sacha Inchi en la Región Piura, así mismo hacer una descripción del mercado para este producto, de tal manera posicionarlo como cultivo potencial de interés exportador. El método utilizado en esta investigación fue Descriptiva – Explorativa, porque solo se describió el sistema de producción, además por existir poca información sobre estudio anteriores a este. Los resultados del estudio concluyeron que el cultivo se adapta y produce bajo las condiciones de Agroclimáticas de Piura asegurando una producción continua durante todo el año, se demuestra que, el incremento de la demanda internacional y la escasa oferta, permite asegurar mercado seguro a las exportaciones de productos y sub productos derivados de este cultivo. La investigación revela también que, considerando un precio inicial de 9 soles por kilogramo de producto, se obtiene de rentabilidad del 73 % superior al Costo de oportunidad del Capital, permitiendo asegurar beneficios económicos al agricultor Piurano

The objective of this research was to analyze and compare the adaptability and profitability of Sacha Inchi in the Piura Region, as well as to describe the market for this product, in such a way as to position it as a potential crop of export interest. The method used in this investigation was Descriptive - Explorative, because only the production system was described, also because there is little information about previous studies. The results of the study concluded that the crop is adapted and produced under the conditions of Agroclimatics of Piura assuring a continuous production throughout the year, it is demonstrated that, the increase of the international demand and the scarce supply, allows to assure safe market to the exports of products and sub products derived from this crop. The investigation also reveals that, considering an initial price of 9 soles per kilogram of product, a yield of 73% higher than the opportunity cost of capital is obtained, allowing the economic benefits of the Piurano farmer to be guaranteed
