Abstract
The objective of this Professional Sufficiency Study (TSP) was to optimize the aerial spraying of rice crops using RPA in the Bajo Biavo district, San Martin. For this purpose, a flight plan was designed, the application coverage (drops cm-2) was evaluated and the operational performance (m² s-1) of the equipment was determined. Five applications were made in plots with different droplet size configurations (80, 110, 150 and 230 µm), keeping the flight height constant and adjusting parameters such as volume, speed and working width. The results showed that smaller droplets (80 µm) generated higher coverage (81.40 droplets cm-2), while larger droplets reduced the impact density. In terms of yield, the Biavo plots, with higher speed (7 m s-1) and working width (6.5 m), presented yields of up to 26.82 m² s 1 , outperforming the Eden plots that operated with a more conservative design. It is concluded that the optimization of RPA spraying depends on precise calibration according to the treatment objective, considering factors such as droplet size, environmental conditions and flight configuration, which allows improving operational efficiency and coverage of the agrochemical.
