Evaluación de las herramientas de gestión ambiental para la prevención de impactos ambientales en la industria minera

Abstract

La industria minera cuenta con alternativas de herramientas de gestión ambiental de pronóstico para la etapa de aprobación de proyecto antes de su ejecución Actualmente las herramientas utilizadas requieren gran cantidad de recursos humanos, tiempo e información recopilada a fin de que su resultado (los posibles impactos ambientales de la actividad) sea lo más cercano posible a la realidad. Si bien sirven estas como pauta, para la etapa de planificación del proyecto los aspectos ambientales manifestados en etapa de operación difieren de la realidad en magnitud y frecuencia. Por lo anteriormente mencionado se evaluarán las herramientas de gestión ambiental aplicadas en la industria minera mediante su identificación, y propondrá una matriz integrada a fin de contar con una herramienta de gestión ambiental aplicable a un proyecto minero de socavón en fase de operaciónThe mining industry has environmental management tools alternatives to forecast environmental impacts for the project approval stage before its implementation. This analysis provides an overview of the environmental management tools applied to the mining industry. The tools that are usually applied require great amount of human +resources, time and information compiled so that the tool output can estimate the real environmental, while they serve as a guideline for the project planning stage, the environmental aspects manifested at the stage of operation differ from reality in magnitude and frequency. The purpose is to evaluate the environmental management tools applied in the mining industry through its identification, to culminate with a proposal of integrated matrix in order to have an environmental management tool applicable to a mining project of underwater in operation phase
