Abstract
La investigación detallada a continuación se desarrolló con la finalidad de definir en el cultivo de col (Brassica oleracea var capitata), la incidencia de plagas. Siendo la ubicación elegida para dicha experimentación, el distrito de Santa Rosa de Quives, localizado en la provincia de Canta, Lima. Se realizó por ende un registro y evaluación de cada una de las etapas de los insectos plagas; ya sea en brotes u hojas. Así mismo se registró los datos meteorológicos de las fechas en las que se desarrolló el cultivo y las labores culturales efectuadas durante este proceso. Dichas evaluaciones se dieron de manera semanal, tanto de las hojas por punto cardinal, como de los brotes. Se desarrolló la presente investigación desde mediados de julio hasta mediados de noviembre del año 2020, registrándose que el insecto plaga con mayor incidencia fue Plutella xylostella (Linneo), presentándose en todas las etapas de la fase vegetativa de la col, siendo la tercera etapa; la de preformación de cabeza del cultivo, de mayor incidencia. Se encontró, asimismo, diferentes insectos, tales como, Hellula phidilealis (Walker), Gusano de tierra, Leptophobia aripa (Boisduval) y Chrysodeixis includens (Walker), a los cuales se controló por medio de aplicaciones que fueron enfocadas en el insecto de mayor incidencia, Plutella xylostella (Linneo).
The investigation detailed below was developed in order to define the incidence of pests in the cabbage crop (Brassica oleracea var capitata). Being the location chosen for this experimentation, the district of Santa Rosa de Quives, located in the province of Canta, Lima. Therefore, a record and evaluation of each of the stages of the pest insects was carried out; either in sprouts and leaves. Likewise, the meteorological data of the dates in which the crop was developed and the cultural practices carried out during this process were recorded. These evaluations were carried out on a weekly basis, both, the leaves by cardinal point, and the sprouts. The present investigation was carried out from mid-July to mid-November of the year 2020, recording that the insect pest with the highest incidence was Plutella xylostella (Linneo), present in all stages of the vegetative phase of cabbage, with the third stage, the pre-heading stage, having the highest incidence. Various insects were also found, such as Hellula phidilealis (Walker), earthworm, Leptophobia aripa (Boisduval) and Chrysodeixis includens (Walker), which were controlled by means of applications that were focused on the insect with the highest incidence, which is Plutella xylostella (Linneo).
