Abstract
The study analyzes the factors that influence the perception and satisfaction of the tourist experience in lodgings located within agroforestry environments in the district of Chanchamayo, Junín region, Peru. A quantitative, explanatory, and cross-sectional research design was applied. The study population consisted of national and international visitors who stayed in rural and eco-friendly accommodations in the area. A structured survey, validated through expert judgment, was administered and processed using RStudio (version 4.3.1). The instrument achieved a high internal consistency, with a Cronbach’s alpha (α) of 0.938. Spearman’s rank correlations (ρ) and a Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) model were estimated to determine the influence of the independent variables — service quality, natural environment, local culture, and accessibility — on the dependent variable “visitor experience and satisfaction.” The results revealed that service quality (β = 0.283) had the greatest influence, followed by the natural and cultural dimensions, while accessibility showed a low and non-significant effect. The findings conclude that the visitor’s experience depends on the balanced integration of service, nature, and culture. The research provides empirical evidence for the sustainable management of agroforestry lodgings and contributes to the formulation of public policies aimed at improving tourism quality in Peru’s Central Jungle, in alignment with the National Tourism Policy 2030 (MINCETUR) and the National Climate Change Strategy 2050 (MINAM).
