Abstract
The present research aimed to determine the influence of organizational climate on the labor productivity of employees in the production area of the company Industria Textil Kelly S.A. The study was conducted under a quantitative approach, with a correlational type and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. For data collection, a structured questionnaire adapted from Zapata and Tovar (2024) was applied. These authors used the organizational climate instrument proposed by Moreira (2018) and the labor productivity questionnaire developed by Sánchez (2021). The organizational climate instrument by Moreira (2018) is based on theoretical approaches from organizational behavior particularly the perspectives developed by Argyris (1957) and Halpin and Croft (1963), which explain how the physical environment, structural characteristics, and social environment influence employees’ behavior within organizations. Likewise, the measurement of labor productivity employed by Sánchez (2021) is based on the productivity indicators model proposed by Cruelles (2009), which evaluates productivity through the dimensions of efficiency, efficacy, and effectiveness. The questionnaire was applied to 35 employees, allowing the evaluation of the dimensions of organizational climate (physical environment, structural characteristics, and social environment) and the dimensions of labor productivity (efficiency, efficacy, and effectiveness). The results showed a positive and moderate correlation between organizational climate and labor productivity (r = 0.560), as well as significant relationships between each dimension of organizational climate and the dimensions of productivity. In particular, the physical environment showed the strongest association (r = 0.634), followed by the social environment and structural characteristics. It is concluded that a favorable organizational climate is favorably associated with employee performance
