Abstract
Se analizaron 1797 muestras de fibra de alpaca tuis de la raza Huacaya de vellón blanco en la región Puno, pertenecientes a pequeños y medianos productores, correspondientes a las 12 provincias de la región. Las muestras fueron analizas en el Laboratorio del Proyecto Especial Camélidos Sudamericanos del Gobierno Regional de Puno con el equipo OFDA. Los resultados fueron procesados con R. Se evaluaron características textiles de la fibra como longitud de mecha (LM), el diámetro medio de fibra (DMF), Coeficiente de variación del diámetro medio de fibra (CVDMF), factor de confort (FC), finura al hilado (FHi), e índice de curvatura (IC). La LM (promedio y desviación estándar) fue de 10.76 ± 1.91cm (p<0.001), observándose una diferencia (P<0.01) entre provincias y sectores. El DMF fue de 19.07 ± 2.37µ observando diferencias (p<0.001) entre provincias y sectores. El CVDMF fue de 26.99 ± 2.98% se observaron diferencias entre provincias (p<0.05) y entre sectores (p<0.001). El FC fue 96.19 ± 3.84%, para su evaluación se realizó una transformación logarítmica, encontrando diferencias (p<0.001) entre provincias y sectores. La FHi fue de 19.64 ± 2.10µ, se observó diferencias entre provincias y sectores (p<0.001). El IC fue de 40.33 ± 7.55°/mm, se observaron diferencias entre provincias (p<0.05) y entre sectores (p<0.001). Se halló una correlación positiva muy alta de +0.97 para la DMF/FHi; correlaciones positivas moderadas de +0.11 y +0.36 para LM/FHi y FC/IC respectivamente. Por otra parte se obtuvieron correlaciones negativas muy altas de 0.90 y -0.95 para la DMF/FC y FC/FHi respectivamente; correlaciones negativas moderadas de -0.18, -0.34, -0.14, -0.37, -0.14, -0.17 y -0.39 para la DMF/CVDMF, DMF/IC, LM/CVDMF, LM/IC, CVDMF/FC, CVDMF/IC y FHi/IC respectivamente. Se concluye que en la región Puno existe una buena calidad de fibra en torno a las características analizadas, existiendo una diferencia significativa entre provincias y sectores.

The samples belonged to small and medium producers across the 12 provinces of the region. All samples were analyzed at the Laboratory of the Special Project of South American Camelids of the Regional Government of Puno using the OFDA equipment. The results were processed using R software. Fiber textile characteristics were evaluated, including staple length (SL), mean fiber diameter (MFD), coefficient of variation of mean fiber diameter (CV-MFD), comfort factor (CF), spinning fineness (SF), and curvature index (CI). The SL (mean ± SD) was 10.76 ± 1.91 cm (p < 0.001), showing significant differences (p < 0.01) between provinces and sectors.
