Abstract
La empresa Mi Vaquita S.A., ubicada en el distrito de Huachipa, Lima – Perú, presentaba problemas para identificar los costos de no calidad asociados a su proceso productivo, el cual incluía las líneas de elaboración de productos a altas temperaturas, derivados lácteos y derivados cárnicos. Para abordar el problema se utilizó el método descriptivo y se aplicó una metodología desarrollada por la propia empresa, la cual consistió en el diseño e implementación de un sistema de gestión de costos de no calidad, llevado a cabo entre julio y diciembre del 2020. Los principales inconvenientes para identificar los costos de no calidad fueron la falta de identificación de los costos ocultos del proceso y la disparidad de la información necesaria para el cálculo, la cual se encontraba dispersa es diferentes repositorios de datos. En consecuencia, en julio del 2020, a pedido de la Gerencia General de la compañía se formó un equipo de trabajo, liderado por el bachiller autor del presente proyecto, para realizar la implementación del sistema de gestión de costos de no calidad de la organización. El proceso implicó la definición de rutas y factores de costeo, la implementación de una plataforma digital que permitió la estandarización de la data y la creación de tableros de seguimiento de indicadores en la plataforma Power BI. La implementación del sistema de gestión de costos de no calidad logró reducir S/ 3.45 millones de soles (48 %) de costos durante su primer año de operación.
The company Mi Vaquita S.A., located in the district of Huachipa, Lima – Peru, faced challenges in identifying the non-quality costs associated with its production process, which included high-temperature product lines, dairy products, and meat derivatives. To address the issue, a descriptive method was used, and a methodology developed by the company itself was applied. This methodology consisted of designing and implementing a non-quality cost management system, carried out between July and December 2020. The main obstacles to identifying non-quality costs were the lack of identification of hidden process costs and the disparity of the necessary information for calculation, which was scattered across different data repositories. Consequently, in July 2020, the company's General Management called upon the author of this project, a bachelor, to lead the process of implementing the organization's non-quality cost management system. The process involved defining costing routes and factors, implementing a digital platform that allowed data standardization, and creating indicator tracking dashboards on the Power BI platform. The implementation of the non-quality cost management system managed to reduce costs by S/. 3.45 million (48 %) during its first year of operation.
