Efecto de la fertirrigación en el rendimiento de dos variedades de camote "Ipomoea batatas L." en condiciones de déficit hídrico

Abstract
En esta investigación se determinó el rendimiento, absorción de NPK y monitoreo de las
características del suelo y agua de riego luego de aplicar el fertirriego en plantas de dos
cultivares de camote: Huambachero y Paramonguino, las más usadas comercialmente, bajo
un régimen de riego parcial deficitario aplicado en tres diferentes momentos de su etapa
fenológica (23, 33 y 45 días), en condiciones primavera-verano del 2017.
El rendimiento, la humedad, salinidad y pH del suelo y muestra madre, y características de
la raíz reservante, se controlaron a lo largo del periodo mientras duró el fertirriego el cual
se realizó con una frecuencia de dos veces de manera intersemanal.
En cuanto a los rendimientos en la variedad Huambachero como en la variedad
Paramonguino, se demuestra que; retrasando la aplicación de PRD y por ende aplicando
por más días después de la siembra de manera homogénea el fertirriego, se logra obtener
mayor rendimiento. La reducción del rendimiento se explica al que las raíces no tenían el
100% de área para absorber las soluciones nutritivas. Los valores de conductividad
eléctrica y pH en general, se encontraron dentro del rango óptimo para las formas
asimilables de los nutrientes minerales y estas condiciones no mermaron la calidad de las
raíces reservantes, la mayoría de las raíces reservantes fueron aptas para la
comercialización (C2).
In this investigation the yield, the NPK absorption and the monitoring of soil characteristics and irrigation water were determined after applying the fertigation in sweetpotato plants: Huambachero and Paramonguino, the most used commercially, under a regime of partial irrigation Deficiency applied in the different moments of its phenological stage (23, 33 and 45 days), in spring-summer 2017. The yield, humidity, salinity and pH of the soil and the mother sample, and the characteristics of the reserve root, control the long term during the period, which is carried out with a frequency of two times in an intersemanial manner. The yields in the Huambachero variety such as the Paramonguino variety show that; delaying the application of PRD and therefore applying for more days after planting homogeneously the fertigation, it is possible to obtain higher yield. The reduction in yield is explained at the same time that the roots do not have 100% of the absorption area of the nutritive solutions. The values of electrical conductivity and pH in general, are within the optimum range for the assimilable forms of mineral nutrients and these conditions not limited the quality of the storage roots, most of the storage roots were suitable for commercialization (C2).
