Abstract
The growth of blueberry cultivation in Peru has brought with it an increase in the emergence and adaptation of pests and diseases, making it important to implement effective integrated management. This integrated management must combine all controls to prevent the development of resistance to chemical control. This document focuses on identifying the key pests and diseases affecting blueberry cultivation in the Chao Valley (Trujillo), analyzing their population dynamics, the climatic conditions that influence their development, and the control methods applied. It explains how to conduct assessments and the action thresholds for decision-making regarding the application or type of control to use. The tasks involved in cultural, ethological, physical, biological, and chemical control will be specified. All of the aforementioned tasks serve the sole purpose of achieving a healthy crop, ensuring sustainable production with minimal environmental impact and generating profitability.
